Fill in the blanks, muffler measurements

Attached is a photo of a home made muffler I intend to use on my 51, A10 Plunger.
Can someone please give me the two measurements as shown from an original muffler so I can check that mine will fit correctly.

Hi Russ, I had some mufflers made for my plunger, and they are 670mm and 290mm.
We did not have an original to copy though, hope this helps.

OK guys settle down. I DID NOT make these mufflers. I don't have the skills.
They came with the project bike I bought many years ago. The old chap who made them no longer makes parts for BSA's which is a loss.
I want to check that my mufflers will fit with "store bought" header pipes should I need to purchase them. I have header pipes that need to be re-shaped to fi,t then chromed, which may be an expensive option.

I just remembered to go and measure my mufflers/silencers. I love a bit of muff-diving, me!
In English, the measurements are as follows.
 
Drive side:
A = 23 7/16". B = 8 1/16"
Timing side:
A = 24 1/8" .  B = 8 3/4"

The difference is explained by the fact that I had to buy a replacement silencer after one developed a loose baffle and started to buzz loudly at certain revs.

The downpipes I have go a long way into the silencer, maybe 4 inches. I don't know if that matters. The exhaust sounds quite nice and throaty though!

Additional: The place where the stand foot sits on your silencer is much nicer than mine, which are just dented depressions.
