New Member here from Western Australia.
My Name is Ken, and I am an old bloke.
I have been reading this forum for at least a year now, and use it for the "go to" for where anything goes/what goes on with A10 info - so I thought I had better get "interactive."
I have had bikes for over 40 years on and off; got back into mainstream with a Hinkley Bonnie that I bought about 2007.
But I bought my A10 in 1979. I rode it to work for a year, and then "parked it up" ......... until 2000, when I added a few bits - then parked it up again and decided to fully strip and rebuild May last year.
It is coming along, but learned very quickly (mainly from here) that parts are a nightmare of "dodgy/don't fit/what were they thinking" ; to the point where probably HALF the parts I get I don't/can't use as just wrong or sloppy.
(Latest issue - cables - Ay yi yi - why so hard????? Oh well.)
But that is what we take on.
I have 4 bikes, the A10, the aforementioned Hinckley bike, a T150V Trident with a 1,000 Hyde kit (sitting idle); and a large American cruiser that I bought 3 years ago (well; I got old, ok?
)
Good to be a part of the forum, as this is where THE info and knowledge is; and hope to be able to contribute at least something.
