Fork lock key missing

On my new (to me) '59 A10, the PO was not able to find the key for the fork lock. 

I now have the lock barrel out, as it was loose and I was able to lift it out. I assume the grub screw was loose or perhaps missing.

Is a new lock/key available?  Or perhaps someone could post a picture of an example of a correct key so I could send it to the PO and see if she can locate the original one.

Plenty of replacements on UK ebay for not much money. I put one on mine after the original was lost in an extended restoration period. Might be Ok if you're leaving it outside the Post Office for a couple of minutes, but it will be no serious deterrent of course.

Yep. I was going to say same on availability. Round key from my old lock, trapezoid for my new lock.

Thanks Richard L. - exactly what I was looking for!  I'll send the PO a pic of the key. 

My lock has a nickel/chrome top, where the key goes.  Some of the replacements don't appear to have this? 

I have the lock cylinder out, looks pretty worn, so I'll replace it, but perhaps we'll get lucky and the PO will find the original key.

  The go to manufacturer for most of the UK vehicle locks was a firm called Wilmot Breeden, like BSA, Birmingham based.  Their brand name on the keys was UNION, and the keys  had the lock number stamped on them.  Surprisingly the matching number can be sometimes
found on the face of the lock! Yes, it was a different time then. The keys still turn up in close down sales of established garages, autojumbles and the usual suspects.   

 So, if the lady looks through any keys left, an original UNION key is a likely contender.

A genuine BSA lock usually has the key number stamped on the body of the lock - first photo see the 15.

The lock series used is EJR, so the pictured lock takes an EJR 15 key (second photo key on right EJR15, one on left is EJR50 but this one is just to show a view of a reverse)

EJR keys are commonly available in UK, cut to number, but make sure you order a motorcycle lock key - the EJR series was also used on some earlier car ignition switches - some Jaguar - but the car ignition key will not fit the bike lock because it is cut on a reverse blank.

Thanks RogerSB,  I was able to remove the lock barrel - it lifted right out, but I'll have to take the tin off it looks to be able to get the outer lock cylinder.  A task for this weekend...
