Petrol tank identification

Hell there .Can anyone help me identify this tank?
I stripped the thick green paint off gently and its red but has the fittings for a hinged filler cap not a screw on one.
There are two fuel taps underneath plus two bolts to take a fixing strap (?)at the front.
The frame is painted dark green and I think its a 1954/5 swinging arm A7 frame, the engine is 1956  shooting star. thanks steve
Ps badge indentations on side are 4inch circular not pear shaped.

Looks very much like the original tank from my 57 Shooting Star but mine didn't have the hinged cap. Could be from a later SR or RGS.

Does it have a breather fitting welded to the top of the tank forward of the filler?
If so, it could be Gold Star or RGS, depending on where the fuel tap sockets are.

There is no fuel breather welded to the tank. I will post a photo of the underside of the tank later today.

Steve what shape and diameter are the badges ?

Looks like A65 or A50.

 1965 A50 Cyclone? Looks pretty close.

Thanks for that it could be a 500 cyclone tank as they had the winged hinged filler cap but no overflow pipe. My bike is becoming more of a bitza day by day !!
