Hi Peeps

Final thread (for today); I promise!  *eek* *smile* *eek*

Here is the thread with my hopefully correct front wheel.https://www.a7a10.net/forum/index.php?topic=16906.msg145153;topicseen#msg145153

Would this front end be correct? It seems like it, but I need the experts view.

Am I good to go?

G'day Poppy.
The sliders (bottoms) are wrong. Their for a latter A10. The rest should work with the correct sliders.
Cheers

Here comes the hard bit for you
Do you want the correct bits
or do you want bits that will do the job for a rider ?
Just about any dry frame forks will fit any frame as the steering stem diameter & length is just about universal
So an entire front end including wheel & mudguard will go strait in
So you pop an A 50/5 front end in to get yourself on the road .
From memory the twins have slightly longer forks but we are humans so we can adapt.
Riding with the wrong parts fitted is the best way to find the right parts .
I have been given several correct parts to replace my wrong ones for free over the years because you meet up with people who can not be bothered to sell thier surplus stuff .
After a prang I rode my A65 with a C12 front end in it, very interesting is the best description & ride slow .

Because the bike doesn't have a registration number, I have to keep it quite close to period / stock otherwise I'll end up with a "Q" plate. This denoted age unknown and for carious reasons is to be avoided if at all possible.

I have a front wheel and fork lowers and yokes, I just need to assemble the bits in between.

I'm definitely hunting for a complete plunger rear wheel assembly...
