If the forum suddenly looked like....
« on: 15.10. 2022 23:59 »
...this. What would you think...

The dark blue as standard (and probably a 'white' version as option)

Am preparing a changeover to the new forum version.
Not now, not very soon, but one day it has to be done to keep pace with internet and mobile standards.

E,

It will be many years before you personally understand this, but old men aren't big fans of change.

I’m on another forum that has a jazzy new style layout.  It also has a button allowing users to revert to the old layout, which looks a lot like the one we’re used to on this forum.

I always use the ‘revert’ button!

It’s tiny and hard to read.

I don't have a problem with the current style but a refresh is nice.

In the test shots the contrast of light blue against dark blue may be difficult for some people. On the other hand high contrast can be tiring and red against blue can kind of flash.

Maybe we could see a few different layouts and vote for our favourite.

Too dark and subdued and the print isn't very legible.

*smile* much as expected. Do not worry, when the day comes it will be close to how it looks now.
Thanks for the feedback.
