I've been tracing my family history and after scanning this photo I thought I'd put it on here. It's of my aunt Nellie on a Douglas TS with Douglas sidecar, probably in the late 20s as she was born March 1903.

Photo would have been taken in Plymouth where she lived all her life.

G`day Roger the model is most likely a CS which is a TS with a clutch and kickstarter upgrade. TS`s were run and jump which would be awkward with a sidecar, regards Jim

Jimmy, that's interesting, I was going by the fact that it had a bicycle type front brake as opposed to the later drum brake and also the leather panniers on the side of the carrier rack. It's a pity more of the bike isn't shown.

Of course my auntie Nellie was an elderly lady by the time I was old enough to know her. I found the photo in  a box of family photos, inherited from my father.
