Small end bushes
« on: 16.11. 2022 07:26 »
Hi,
Does anyone have dimensions of the small end bushes. Mine are so worn they fell out of the rods. I suspect they may have been imports etc and they might have had incorrect od. They fit the pins really well there is even a ridge off unworn on each bush

G'day BSA500.
I'm assuming by your name it would be A7 bush's. A10 are larger.
I know I have new A7's. Back soon.
Cheers

Thank you I shall check my ones and con rods. I noted that SRM do 0.02 oversize bushes if needed

Beware of oval small end holes and souvenirs of seizures (such as enlarged small end holes) in alloy rods.

They can be portents of rod breakage.

Measured the unworn portion and they are barely 0.81. Conrod holes don't look torn up and as far as I can tell not oval. We shall see
