There are 257 pages of posts under “What have you done with your bike today?”. Posts in compact (cell phone) mode don’t show dates. I’m recommending leading posts to such running conversations with the date, like used here. I’ve now read all 257 pages seven times ( *smile*, well, maybe not).

Did not think of that before now ! The mobile setup was a kind of quick fix added to the quite old forum platform (born long before internet on phones and tablets became widespread), so somewhat restricted. But at least working reliably regarding login, posting and posts, pictures etc. But no changes or fixes can be expected.

'Someday' (it's in preparation for a while) the new forum software will replace what we use now, everything updated for these modern times, surely well adapted for mobile devices.

Dates show when I tilt my phone on its side. Don’t know if it’ll work for you? I’m using Firefox browser on an iPhone.

I for one, hope this forum never gets updated! It's excellent as it is.
Several newer forums that I use are awful compared to this.
(I know there will be clever rationales for updating, but 'be careful what you wish for').

^^^ The update to the forum will one day be inevitable, as the basis of what the internet 'is made of' changes and evolves. Older systems can be updated and mended to a certain degree, until it becomes impossible.

The new forum software has been in existence for around 5 years, but have kept this forum running on the older version as it has been very stable and user friendly, adding every possible modification to keep it compatible with changes in web standards ...but one day that won't be possible, either go for the newer version or things will break.

The newer forum software's changes are mainly under the hood, visible design and most day to day member activity \ browsing etc will look very similar to what we got now.
