Hi Steve ,had the same problem ,same side after a slow speed off . Tried for 6 mths for a replacement but they are rocking horse pooh, desperation set in and not having the skill or welding set of RL2 I found that an old fork bronze bush fitted over the footrest spline to footrest and with a large washer was able to tighten it up so no slip and it hasn't moved in 10 yrs. You can't see the bush .I even stand on the pegs ( bad knee ) to get a good swing to start and still no movement .it will keep you riding best of luck, Bob
