I finally breathed life into the old girl. I rigged up a temp fuel line as the petrol tank is not quite ready. Oil in gearbox and engine oil tank. After kicking it over for about a week with the plugs out to get oil circulating I decided to give it a try. It took me a couple of tries to realise that the leads were on the wrong way so swapped them around and after one kick she breathed life. I set the throttle screw to tick over nice and checked the oil return to the tank. The oil was returning well. At this stage I switched her off as I have not purchased the exhaust pipes yet. After 2 years working on the bike I feel as if I am getting close to the end of the rebuild. I will now have to work on building the strength in my leg to kick it over as it is f**ked.
I will find out how that goes in time or I will have to look into an electric leg.
