With that thread it looks like a stem from the bottom yolk. But where is the yolk?

Sorry - the length is 2 3/4" and the thread diameter is 5/8"

I dont think that it is for Sidecar-mounting cause it is not strong enough.
Mayby for a Wheelspindle/Bearingsleeve. *whistle*
