I  have had cause to strip my motor for an unrelated issue recently, the big ends were re-ground by SRM`s  at its last re-build, after which less than 1000 mls has been covered - it struck me they were a nice job, nice fillet radii (super important)I would guess that they are as good as anybody, and well expert on A10`S ......Bob.

Always worth trying T&L Engineering, Pear Tree Farm, Wilstead Rd, Elstow, Bedfordshire, MK42 9YG - 01234 352418. Superb people with an excellent set up, specialising in vintage and classic engines. Did me a 3-bearing AMC crank a couple of years ago in 24 hours by appointment and also trued up a rod and dug out some fasteners. Very inexpensive. Shop is full of interesting stuff like ours, they like old things and they also have a state-of-the-art dynamic balancer if required. Thanks to them, managed to blow it up one weekend and have it back on parade running fine again the following Saturday - in France. Still going like a train.

What do you mean it hasn't got one?
All A7/A10 cranks have a sludge trap.
The small journal and large journal billet cranks only have plugs and a gallery whereas the large journal radial bolted cranks have the plugs and a removable tube.

Hi, mrshells
The prices from SRM are for the labour cost
The B/E shells and main bush cost extra
