Plunger Chain Guard
« on: 12.06. 2010 12:32 »
Hi Folks

I was short of a chain guard and now I've ended up with 2! Looking at my Dragonfly catalogue they are both for the plunger. They are slightly different however. From the picture the chain enclosure is larger on one. Can anyone shed any light on this? I have yet to fabricate a lower fixing plate for the yellow one.

Thanks Stu

Stu,
Possibly the larger cut away is for the larger sprockets as for sidecar use.
Another difference which may be found is that the early type did not have pump brackets on top as the pump was held under the tank.
