Does anyone know if anyone produces the rocket mascot on the front guard for the early road rockets?

Have not seen new one advertised , second hand one was on Ebay couple of months ago.
Can you get away with one of these, in UK I think you would fail MOT with one installed

I'm from Victoria, Australia and we don't have any annual vehicle checks once registered so if it were an issue it would go on after. I can see that they could be seen as dangerous as I believe that we got rid of front number plates for that reason. But I still want one!

Mark, check out this old thread here, a member found and sold one last year:

Maybe you will reconsider once you've seen the price.   *eek* *smile*

Cheers, Markus

you're probabily better off without one anyway , some little toerag would damage your bike stealing the thing. remember the vw badge craze years ago.

You would probably get away with fitting one in the UK if it was original equipment for that model at the time of maufacture (even if it were a repatriated export model). AFAIK there are no retrospective safety mods to any original features (or lack of) - bike front numberplates, indicators and car seatbelts come to mind.
Seems like "elf and safety" let that one slip past them!
