A10 (1951) Big End Journal size
« on: 21.11. 2007 03:14 »
Hi Everyone
I'm new to this forum stuff so be patient with me.
I have a 1951 GF had it for a number of years and have only just been introduced
to it's inner workings. I have measured up for rings,, main bearing etc, but there seems some
confusion to the standard big end journel size. it measures up at 1.414, the crank is in excellent cond, so no
regrind, could some one out there "please" tell me what size it started life at?  *eek*

Les, it appears to have lost a fair bit of definition in the posting. Contact me and I will e-mail you a copy at a better resolution.

Big thanks for service sheet 207,, helped heaps. Bloody bench looks like a
jig saw puzzle, hopefully there won't be any bits surplus to requirment (left over)
Will keep you upto date, maybe even ask more questions like is this bit really important???
