hello again
« on: 30.03. 2011 22:20 »
Just thought I would say hello again its been a while since I was on here, Last time I got a bit stressed at some of the replies to my opinions on some of the topics as I have difficulty some times in trying to explain things even though I know what I mean and know what I am doing.
I can't remember what name I posted last it may have been Rocketship, but I have now dropped that name for this forum.
Some of you will remember that I have a Super rocket with  Steve Mcfarlane electric start fitted, which a year on is still working fine, came in real handy the last few weeks when I had a trapped nerve and could hardly lift my right leg let alone kick start it, alright now before anyone asks.
I have looked in from time to time and read the posts and it is good to see that nothing has changed much.
Thats all for now
Richard

Welcome back, "good to see that nothing has changed much"... (apart from 15.000 new posts & 200.000+ monthly pageviews now). It's still a very friendly forum, and providing lot's of owners with help & info, but small tribulations can happen sometimes. Hoping you'll enjoy your stay.

Hi Richard - welcome back

Glad the legs better, have had a similar thing for about six months, hopefully got the better of it with MST (morphine), (seeing Rheumatologist today)
Looking forward to your comments, if you remember I am building a Rocket type bike, still a bit off complete so probably I still have some questions for all you rocket owners

Wonderful news! Good to have you back Richard, now I suppose you might be grilling me to attend the John Bull this year, What are your plans for that? Emma is particularly keen to go, an she'll have a spare pair of shades just in case.  ;)

Richard Welcome back. If I remember rightly, you were the chap who was part of the Wiltshire Branch of the BSAOC, and rode a Red SR. Were you the chap who did a Police A10 mock up for the BSA open day in kettering a couple or three years ago? I looked for you the last twice, but didnt see you, I did catch up with Steve Mac who was showing his SR electric start, what a brilliant piece of kit. If that wasn't you I will look even more of a muppet.

Welcome back.  *smile*

ps Was it "Richard from Minety" ??

Yes you are correct not a muppet at all, I was not impressed with Wicksteed and also they changed the date and I was otherwise committed, so did not attend.

I go on the P&O ferry at 11.50am on the Friday and return on the Sunday so no other overnight stays so as to keep the costs down, will hopefully be riding the S/R but pressure is on to take the Hinkley t100 so we shall see, I wear glasses much of the time now and have reacter lenses so should be ok, besides which have you gone and ordered sunshine for this year?

Hi Richard

Good to see you back on the forum, and last time we spoke you had booked S/R for the electric foot, looks like that has gone well.
