Motorcycle News from Brooklands Museum

Norton Owners Club 21st May
 
The Surrey branch of the NOC will be out in force on Saturday 21st May in and around the Paddock at the Museum. The event starts at 10am and ALL are welcome. In addition to the displays of bikes there will be the chance to see and hear the machines in action as they tackle the famous Test Hill and then on to the Members Banking section of the racetrack in the afternoon (subject to weather).

FIVA Meeting 3rd June
 
The FIVA World Motorcycle Meeting is a non-competitive event which this year is held in the South East of England from 2nd - 5th June 2011. On Friday 3 June at around 11am, some 100 riders will arrive at the Museum. Subject to weather, Test Hill will be running in the afternoon for those participants wishing to put their bike through its paces. The bikes will be leaving the Museum mid-afternoon for their return to Brands Hatch.

Norton Owners Club - National Day 2nd July
Part of the NOC National Rally, there will be a display in the Paddock with a concours competitioon and Test Hill will be in action in the afternoon (subject to weather). For more information go to http://nortonownersclub.org/events/national-rally-2011

Brooklands Classic Breakfasts
 
Nearly every month, we open up early to encourage anyone with a vintage or classic motorcycle, car or other vehicle to come and have a slap up breakfast before mingling with other like-minded enthusiasts out in the Paddock. The range of vehicles differs everytime so come on down with your machine and show it off.

Breakfast is served in our Sunbeam Café from 8am - 9.30am and includes tea & coffee, sausage, bacon, scrambled egg, hash brown, tomatoes, beans, toast and butter. Childrens? breakfasts are three of the above items + toast + drink.

Adults & Seniors £13, Children (5 - 12yrs) £6.50, Children under 5 are FREE unless they are eating breakfast, in which case they pay £6.50. Prices include a full English breakfast. The Motoring Village opens at 9.30am followed by the rest of the displays and aircraft at 10am.

Dates for the Brooklands Classic Breakfasts are: 15th May, 17th July, 25th September, 16th October and 18th December.

All bikes for the Breakfast are welcome to enter the Museum via the Campbell Gate off Brooklands Road. Pre-booking (especially if you are part of a group) is available by calling the number below or just turn up on the day!

(The Concorde Experience is £4 extra and can be booked on the day)
