Nah, dont think the air filter and rings will fix it Muskrat (grand wishful thinking there I suspect  ). My bike back then was in excellent health and with an air filter, and still stopped whenever it rained  .........

The last time I rode her in the rain (read pi$$ing down) was up at Maitland. The rubber boot on one plug cap was missing so in a straight line or left handers the right plug would go out. But on right handers when it cut back in was like hitting the NOS button. Made for entertaining riding and probably viewing from behind as I came out of the corners foot down sliding, only to turn back into a 250 once the water got back in.
