New from Terrace BC, Canada

Hi All
Just new to the forum.  I live in Terrace BC, Canada. Currently working on a 1952 A7 plunger project, Will post some pictures soon.  If there is any one in this neck of the woods I would love to know.  This is my first BSA project (and man has it been a project so far).  I`ve run mostly japanese stuff up to now.  79 Honda CB 750, 1980 yamaha heritage special, 2003 V-Star, Honda 750 intercepter. I Just picked up a great condition 1969 Ducati sebring 350 (900 origional miles) for the wife and working on the A7 for ME (read I finally got the bike I have pined after since my youth).  I wouldnt mind trading the Ducati for another BSA if any one may be interested. Browsing through the postings you all seem to be a good sort and I look forward to the posts.

sorry I forgot on the last post, If anyone has an exploded view of the rear wheel hub, brake, axel assembly for the 52 plunger I would greatly appreciate it.  I got it as a basket case and I am pretty sure I might be bissing a couple bits.  The haynes manual I have is for the swingarm rear end.

you've landed in a good spot for info on your A7.

I'm not exactly in your neck of the woods but I am in the same province down here in Squamish.

I used to work in the heli logging industry and flew into Terrace many times to get to camp....

 have you ever been to the classic bike swapmeet and show in tswassen?  I am looking at maybe heading down for it this year and was wondering if it is worth the trip?  Any info would be appreciated.  Its nice to hear that there is another "local boy" around.

I've heard good things about the Tsawwassen swap meet and would like to go.
People from all over Canada make it there and quite a few from US.
I would say it's worthy of the trip.

Every year I have the best intentions to get there but end up being out at sea (gotta get the bucks to fund my expensive bsa habits  )

Maybe next year

Hey Brian thanks for the rear hub picture.  Turns out that my problem was not that I was missing bits but rather that I had too many.  An ill placed space was causing my grief.  The basket case is now rolling (not running mind you but we have to start somewhere)
