Lucas Ammeter stripdown ?

Im trying to make 1 good ammeter from 2 but I cant figure out how to get into the item ..hoping Someone can help please ?

At a guess I'd say you need to carefully roll/prise/peel  the bezel off its' flange maybe from the underside...??
Started building in about 1977/8 a on average '52 A10 -built from bits 'n pieces never resto intended -maybe 'personalised'
Have a '74 850T Moto Guzzi since '92-best thing I ever bought doesn't need a kickstart 'cos it bump starts sooooooooo(mostly) easy

The bezel came away easily , cant figure out how to open the "case" now ?

The glass should just drop out when you have the bezel off. The works are attached into the case either by the terminal screws (if a plastic case) or there is a screw coming from the back screwing into the inner case.

At least that's how I remember it from decades ago.....

Maybe undo the nuts on the posts on the back? I'm still guessing- took photos of the two I have assumed lucas(one is 2" smiths) but didn't really look at detail see (not so good)photo if it's the same??

I thought I posted this before I went out earlier, is Pretty much what Ian said with a dodgy photo
