Wanted HT leads and caps
« on: 19.12. 2012 15:22 »
Hi, I am after a full set of HT leads cable and caps etc to fit my 53 plunger Magneto, Does anybody know where I can ge a set from or parts to rebuild the originals?

I have tried a few dealers back in England with little or no response.

Or does anybody know about an update that is fitted. I am planning on coverting the bike to 12 volt if this makes any difference.

Any help as always greatly appreciated.

Many thanks

Hi Bikemad,

Always end up the same way to.
Go for buying one thing, and end up with a whole list.

Picked up the sign in a HD accesoirs shop, so it's bound to be American of origin.
It's above my workbench, as a reminder, when I'm in despair.....

Just a word to the wise, if you are buying pick up holders and brushes be sure to check the brushes are not too soft! If you can write with them they are too soft. So many problems are caused by this one simple thing. Too hard makes them brittle, but as yet I know of no simple way to check that. Anybody any ideas?
