Someone has changed the generator. That's a short 45W unit from an early A7/C10/11.
The tank is the same as my '55 Flash. Badges may be a little difficult to find.

G'day Trevor,
I'm almost too scared to look at it any closer now, in case I find more ring inn parts,
but that's what you get after 57 years.
It came with 4 badges, one set in restorable condition, the other 2 will look good on the wall.
Are the rocker boxes the same on the small fin head & the large?

regards, Cus

Are the Indians repo'ing the '56 type tank,
I've seen most of the others, but not this type
with just the holes for the wing badges & knee
pads,

That tank is available ..I bought one recently & will attempt to find details for You .
They are a decent job except the badge holes are slightly farther towards the rear of the tank rather like the plunger style .
I own a 1955/56 B.S.A Swinging Arm "Golden Flash" , had it since 1976 .

Here are some pics of the cowl, the gold one has the cut out for the lock but the black one i fitted to the bike has no cut out , i fitted that one because i could not bring myself to paint the gold cowl which looks to be virtually new and with oem paint. My bike has a hole for the lock in the top yoke but ive not fitted one yet and i would have to make a slot in the cowl to fit one s well

G'day Kiwi.
That cowl doesn't happen to be For Sale by any chance?
