Shipping Label

While going through a box of spare parts I discovered this shipping label,  (date unknown )
I had never taken any notice of what was written on it,
Just wondering who or what " GAGG & Sons " of Nottingham supplied..
&, why they would be posting BSA parts to " Green Room FILMS " Edinburgh ????

Yep still in business as far as I know (founded in 1900) last time I saw there advert they were selling the new petrol tanks as well as a lot of other stuff, specialise in speedo's and clocks.

Note the label is "care of" so could be anybody working for them - actors, actresses, and all sorts of luvvies in between

I heard from Russell at chronometricsuk that the brothers who ran Gagg and Sons sold up to someone from Sheffield relatively recently, maybe a couple of years though.  He used to do some work for them and now has their nameplate above the entrance to his workshop just outside Nottingham.  I can't remember the name the buyer trades under.
Always sad when these old names disappear or change hands.

I did a Google search of A Gagg & sons of 106 Alfreton Road Nottingham UK & it came up as a
Classic British bike specialest that shut up shop @ that address in 2011..
Then put the address into google maps & looked at street view...
YEP the original signage is still on the empty shop....     

I checked out madsens link & YES again I'd say their the same people, specialising in
SMITHS instroments...      (     Hmmmmm...might be handy )

I sent Greenroom Films a eMail re Belinda Streager asking if she is known, & if so..
what was purchased, who the bike was sold to? & if she knows when it was shipped to Australia?   ????

Waiting for a reply... I might get lucky to find out some history of my bike..

Gagg and Sons sold up to someone from Sheffield relatively recently, maybe a couple of years though

 I  have had stuff from Sheffield a Headlamp shell I believe, could have been them - the name Electrovectors (or similar) comes to mind.
