Welcome to the forum Grammabud.
Assuming you're talking about an A (and why else would you be here?!), with a dynamo, then a lot of us use the DVR2 regulator made by Dynamo Technologies Ltd (in the UK). Some of us have several (or more than several) of them and have found them to be excellent. A search in the forum should lead you to a few threads and a lot of comments, pretty well all of them highly complimentary.
Cheers, Bill

Thanks Bill,
Any suggestions for a supplier, preferrably in the US?

Hi. I ordered my dvr2 online for delivery to nz. The web site has details of shipping costs. Its not costly and easy to do.

You need to specify whether positive or negative earth

I use mine for 6v and it works fine.

Don't know if there are US stockists or not Grammabud, but as KiwiGF says, no problem ordering from abroad. I'm a bit 'less' abroad than you, being in France, but things come in a few days.
