Hi Wozza,
The Lucas part number for the points themselves was 470609. The spring blades are 470688. The brass backplates are handed, and are 470914 for anti-clock- (most 2-wheeled applications) and 470913 for clockwise (a few bikes and a lot of cars).
Can't find a part number for any of the various rubber rings/washers for any of the many end covers - presumably because Lucas supplied them with the covers. I often use oil filter sealing rings to make something that fits.
Cheers, Bill

Wozza, the the only places I've found that do a half decent selection of 'O' rings is some- but not all- bearing shops...! take the cover for fitment.
Started building in about 1977/8 a on average '52 A10 -built from bits 'n pieces never resto intended -maybe 'personalised'

Care to enlighten us as to the filter # for the seal ring. So many out there. Rummage the local mechanics rubbish bin to find one.
I was thinking quad ring would be better than O ring.
Cheers

Wish I could (enlighten re oil filter part # that is) - I just save all old rings from the vehicles that pass through the shed for oil and filter changes, round and square, and mess about as required, cutting to length to make right size circles.  Not at all scientific I'm afraid!
