The real future will come when these BSA bikes gain a Sturmey-Archer 3 speed hub gear. How I loved my Triumph Palm Beach. It was blue unlike my Dad's black Rudge bicycle. On that subject, electric bicycles are a usable hybrid. Not a bad range and you can bring it (or just the battery) into the hall to charge - no trailing extension leads. Doesn't sound as good as an A10 though.

What about adding cardboard clickers to the forks using clothes pegs; that's what we kids used to do?

i think i read somewhere theres not enough lithium in the world to power even half the current fleet, and even then we'd need to leave some to calm down all the manic people, else imagine the standard of driving?!?!
i'm surprised they use the piled arms logo to sell kids bikes in india - imagine explaining the Crimean war and bayonets to a five year old at their birthday party
