Certificates of Performance

Until today, I did not realize BSA dyno ("Brake") tested our bikes before they left the factory. In fact, I don't know that they tested every bike, but I want to start a collection of as many of these records we can get our hands on. I think these are a great source of tech info for us.

The fellow who allowed me to take a copy of the dyno chart the he received with his new Road Rocket, also provided these photos of the bike when he bought it, then after he ran up the back end of a car, on one of Perth's freeways.

Back in the old days, when the bears were bad, all the local BSAs had handlebars just like those in the picture.
Did BSA fit them for Aussie or were they an after market item.
They are different to the American ones.
I'd like to get a set but they seem to have disappeared.
Interesting certificates. especially the tuning info.

I like the certificates too, did they do all bikes are just the sporty models. Do we know if these are somewhere with the factory records, or did they go out with the bikes.

The roads were that bad out here (things never change) we needed cow horn bars to navigate.
