Roger at Cake Street used to have a couple of shelves worth of them. Not sure now.

Welcome to this fabulous forum. We are a friendly group. Please, will you go to Introductions and tell us a little about your interest in 'A' series BSA's. Pictures are good.

Thins head on eBay has a lot of damage, especially close to the valve seat.not worth the risk, will keep looking, hopefully something may turn up.

Hi and welcome,
There was a very nice one sold on eBay in USA the other day
I have bought two from there over the years. The USA heads can be really low mileage so good condition

presumably you're after the later single port head, not the 54/55 twin port head?
You can also fit an a7ss head if you can find one
A good rider periodically checks all nuts and bolts with a spanner to see that they are tight - Instruction Manual for BSA B series, p46, para 2.

I have an A7 SS head, I did contemplate fitting it but I'm not going racing with the bike so, thought I should settle for 8.25:1 pistons and a 357 cam and keep looking for an A10 single port head. Im sure to find 1 eventually  *smile*

When I get around to fettling my RGF back to GF I'll have one for sale, but got shed to finish, radiotherapy to undergo and life to lead in the meantime, so if you can't get one in the next three-four months just keep me in mind
All the best - Bill
1961 Flash - stock, reliable, steady, fantastic for shopping
1959 Rocket Gold Flash - blinged and tarted up  would have seizure if taken to  Tesco

Hi there, how is your A10 alloy head search going? We have one here which has all fins intact, ideally needing a head skim (£20 roughly) to bring it up to near new condition..

I can send a few pics over if you wanty to have a look at it?

Thanks, Matt
