Hi GB and Congratulations.
Any thought by me to laugh was quickly quashed by the knowledge that I will be exactly there next January.
Happy arthritis birthday.

Wow. Snap Bob!
My future F-in-L Andrew was Irish and a very strict Catholic. He had already ostracised one of his daughters for committing the dual sins of 'living' with a non-Catholic man. A few years later when he met me, he had calmed down a bit and that process continued as his large family gradually broke other taboos. Andrew was a Socialist. We saw eye-to-eye on many things. I'm pretty sure he thought I was ok.

70 is the new 50. Getting old has its advantages. My observation is that it gives you excuses to behave inappropriately. I'm an early developer of course!

I don't actually feel like I'm about to fall off my perch. Three of my grandparents lived to just short of 100 years. The only health issue I have is cranky joints and that should not kill me, (except, maybe getting caught by a speeding car as I totter across the road to Aldi's).

According to my wife, I've been a 'dirty old man' for about 40 years  *smile*
