New BSA’s

Is there any news out there on the new BSA bikes to be built by Mahindra in India.
It’s been a couple of years since the media splash of Mahindra intentions to build a new BSA motorcycle.
Have there been any made yet?
Enquiring minds need to know😀

Rolls Royce started to develope the Silver shadow the day the silver Dawn was released ( around 1943 ) and the shadow hit the road in 1966.
There were no recalls.
Hesketh from memory announced his intention to build a motorcycle and had it on the showroom floor in 5 years and every one was junk.
So I would not expect to see a new motorcycle in under 5 years unless it was a current model rebadged with some different tinwear.
Then it has to get certification just about everywhere it is going to be sold .
When they announced the purchase of the BSA trade mark I doubted that we would ever see one .
I would have expected to see them in India & Asia where there are still BSA's being used as daily transport in reasonable numbers.
I do not expect to see them in Western markets where it is expensive to get certification , sales will be low and expectations high .

Royal Enfield are struggling. Maybe Mahindra are being cautious.

With that virus out there, please hold your breath for a long time.
