I said there MAY be a problem. If the engine has an oileal on the crank, (post 1953, B Series Crankcases) that slinger is not used and is spurious to your engine. If there is no seal, early engines, then you need it, and the drive side outer race has to come out. The good news is that as long as the race goes back as was, crank float adjustment is not affected.
