Its an utter tragedy.
Currently there are 95 dead and hundreds missing.
I think Bob (Kiwipom) lives in Christchurch.
Has anyone heard if he is ok?

hi guys, yes a hell of a mess down here there are many houses that will have to be demolished and rebuilt mine is one of them. lots of people dead and missing i think it will be years to straighten it out, thanks for your combined concern it is much appreciated, they say that there is about 130,000tonnes of liquificaton(sandy silt) that has forced itself up into the streets and properties most of the bridges are impassable traffic is a nightmare, not able to live in the house so no work on A10 but will work on moving sometime soon, thanks guys,Bob

Lots of frightening footage on tv here, but can not even imagine what it would have been like being caught in the middle of it. Let me express compassion for victims & respect for those who help.
