What sidestand bolts do I need?
« on: 23.05. 2011 21:03 »
Hi All,

I've now acquired a sidestand (cake st classics) in another step towards roadworthiness but forgot to ask if there's any specific size/type of bolts to use to fix it to the frame.

The bike's a 58 Golden Flash

Any assistance much appreciated by rookie!

Cheers

John

Hi John,

If this helps the original bolts were part number 42-4767.

Hi John - from Burton Bike Bits web site - SIDE STAND MOUNTING LUG BOLT - 5/16" X 1 1/8" CEI (SMALL HEAD)

I think these might be the same as the handlebar mounting bolts
All the best - Bill
1961 Flash - stock, reliable, steady, fantastic for shopping
1959 Rocket Gold Flash - blinged and tarted up  would have seizure if taken to  Tesco
