DVR2 WIRES

hi again, you may think i am thick, but have been through the wires for for dvr2  poss earth and i am left with a brown and white wire coming from ammeter, this is per instruction sheet,   GREEN /FIELD-----YELLOW/ DYNAMO----RED/EARTH TO FRAME-------BROWN TO BATTERY VIA BROWN AMMETER WIRE, that leves me with a brown and white wire from ammeter that went on the old reg box A terminal, DO I JUST TAPE THIS WIRE UPor should it go to dvr2 thank you.mal.

One side of the alternator should be connected to the DVR2 negative.
The other side should be connected to the neg side of the battery.

Alternator????

The brown from the DVR2 should go to the brown / white going to the ammeter. This then goes straight to the battery. You could connect it as you have done but then the ammeter won't show any charge......

THANK YOU SO MUCH WILL GO AND SWAP WIRES
