Clutch centre

Hi, everyone, just want to know is there any possible dodges (if you like ) to hold the clutch centre while the centre nut is tightend to the req torque.

Put the bike into top gear and hold the back brake on.

 Plus I use a rattle gun and red loctite.
 Saw a bloke put a broom handle through the spokes to stop the wheel turning , f'ed two and bent two spokes.

Me too Musky, until the last (Hernia repair tearing episode) - now I have  a good clutch locking tool.
Rattle guns ( we call them air guns) are good, they have been known to be less than kind to fine threads tho

A good air gun (= air riffle down here) has a few settings. Go up the settings till it strips then back off one .

Stainless threads even lubed will gaul if turned really fast
