Phew!!! I got the bike on the lift and went to set the tappets. After rotating the engine a little, there was a loud "snap". Oh Sh-- thought I

. Fortunately the left intake pushrod wasn't in the cup and had slipped off. So off with the rocker box again and checked for damage - None. So reset everything and no further issues. Got the tappets set and starting to reassemble all the peripherals. Having stuffed up the order several times in the past, I now reassemble in this order :
Assembly plan for peripherals.1. Fit the footrests completely and tighten. Make sure the footrests are at correct position.
2. Fit the exhaust pipes.
3. Fit the brake cross-over shaft and fit the splined lever at the cable end.
4. Re-connect the brake cable.
5. Reinstall the brake stop light switch.
