Finally got out on the GF after all the house jobs I've been tasked with (the missus, ya know

)
Said I'd go for a short run, however, 5 hours and 148m later over hill and dale, I rocked up at home

Given all the work I'd done recently on the bike, it was like a bit of a recommissioning, so here's what I found:
Oil cut out valve arrangement works fine, apart from a tiny weep of oil from one of the reducers which I didn't treat with PTFE tape.
Oil return was like a spit every second.
The leak at the oil tank return HAS ACTUALLY STOPPED with my 'adaptations'. The r/h rear footpeg, exhaust and rear tyre DID NOT get covered with oil on this run - very pleased. Also found that I could touch the oil tank with my hand and, although very warm, wasn't red hot and untouchable like it was prior to the Berger Build (hats off again for Bergs).
The bar-end mirror stayed perfectly still and, because it has a rubber mount arrangement, means vibration is dampened to the point I can actually see what's behind me

The l/h petrol tap definitely doesn't leak.
Bike ran beautifully with only a small break for petrol. Can get a little tappety when hot, but doesn't affect performance, tickover, etc. In fact, I actually GET a steady tickover.

Cannot figure the l/h fork oil leak at the slider. I'm convinced there's a crack somewhere as it doesn't seem to be coming from the drain screw and isn't leaking down from the seal

Front brake continues to be excellent with my 'reverse' setup.
The clutch cable I soldered the ball nipple onto was fine. There was a moment when the cable went slightly slack, but this was because the nipple had settled further into the gearbox lever recess. Took a spare cable and solderless with me just in case.
The high bars I fitted are brilliant. A really comfortable ride with no bad back or neck in the morning. I also seemed to find that it was easier to chuck round corners and seemed to handle better all round. May need to pull them down slightly but, overall, am finding position very comfortable (especially for a Beeza).
Bergs, I called on you on spec at about 2.30 but no reply.
At one point, I stopped at some lights just as a group of primary kids was walking by. I could hear them shouting 'motorbike'. When I looked round, they were waving and giving the 'thumbs up' - the adults weren't smiling!
Nice touch to a fabulous biking day - this is what it's all about
