Been a bit off the bikes lately, what with operations, property repairs, a 150 hrs kitchen rebuild and a couple of biggish (for me nowadays, at least) boat jobs.
So took out the 60deg vee for a run a couple of days ago. As I said, been busy of late and after a stroke 18 months ago & a couple of ops since not felt robust enough till now for a bike like that. The engine controls well, but it's a bit of a beast. More of a handful that my Firestorm, but the A10 frame handles so well (twin discs up front help) - better than the featherbed in my old Triton - and the plunger gearbox / clutch are a delight to use. The roller plunger detent certainly makes the changes smooth. All in all a real pleasure to ride, and the pulling power of that engine is so addictive. Must give it another blast soon, then maybe the GF.
