for looks and reliability just buy the kwack 800 and stick BSA badges on it *good3*
I've seen it done and another with Triumph badges.

....and another thing..... I've just been googling images for BSA Gold Star because I'm geekily looking at rear mudguard stays for a project and, you've guessed it, there are more images of the new 'BSA' than the original. Don't know how they had the nerve to call it a Gold Star!

I'm sure you do know really:  The Gold Star name is legendary, like the name Bonneville. The new machine is a single, as was the original, also the 1971 BSA B50ss 'Gold Star'. What else could they name it; Golden Flash? I expect they'll use that name when they bring out a twin.  *smile*.
What name would you prefer, if any?

Thought Brooklands had closed a while back, so dunno how the Indians managed to get their new bike to earn the Gold Star badge ....

Friend of mine has just paid the £500 deposit on the Legacy and been told it could be Christmas.

To me that looks like a 'toe in the water' exercise to judge how to price their machines. Which price band sells the most?

pretty common i thought for non-standard paint to attract a premium. ducati does it all the time. makes it more excsluive?
